Kerrie A. Simpson, Founding Director
Thoroughbred Tax Consultants was founded by Kerrie A. Simpson. Kerrie currently holds a number of Board positions, has reached the level of Fellow of the Australian Institute of Taxation (FTIA), a Fellow of the National Tax & Accountants Association (FNTAA), an Associate Fellow of the Australian Institute of Management (AFAIM), a Professional National Accountant (PNA)of the National Institute of Accountants (NIA) and a Member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (MAICD).
Kerrie has worked in tax and compliance in Chartered Accounting firms since she was an undergraduate studying for her Masters degree in Professional Accountancy, specialising in accounting & tax compliance and business development and structuring, Kerrie also has a broad experience of the industry and a thirst for knowledge. Kerrie is a Founding Director of Simptel Communications Limited, providing global automated telephony services for blue chip and government organisations. She is a fully qualified Real Estate Agent, helds finance accreditations with most of the major lenders, a current member of the Gold Coast Turf Club, an Executive Member of the Irish Association and a proud member of Women in Racing.
Kathleen J. Simpson LLB
Kathleen J. Simpson is formally qualified in law and business, graduating with a Bachelor of Laws (LLB), a Bachelor of International Business Relations (BIntBusRl) and a Graduate Diploma in Export Management (GDExpMgt).
Kathleen has over 10 years experience in the areas of business development and business advisory, domestically and internationally. She specialises in business development, advisory and taxation law and advises clients on compliance, risk management, and preparation of ATO audit responses.
Kathleen represents clients in small-medium sized business and is recognised for her sound judgment and her practical, commercial approach.
Kathleen is a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (MAICD), an Associate Fellow of the Australian Institute of Management (AFAIM) and a proud member of Women in Racing.
